Fear of Success
What does title mean to you? What kind of feelings does it evoke? Could you be guilty of having fear of success? We have all lost ourselves in imagination at some point or another and visualized living our dreams and how happy we would be. We fantasize about one day becoming an actor/actress, a painter, a singer, or even the CEO of our own company. Suddenly, as quickly as our imagination starts to wonder of all the possibilities, the negative thoughts start to creep in and our dreams of success quickly turn into fear. Fear is such a strong emotion; it has the power to stop you dead in your tracks and prevent you from going after the very thing you know you were destined to do. It can be a scary feeling to know that you have the power inside you to do ANY thing in this world that you want to do. How different would your life be if you just tapped into those powers? You wonder if you're ready and if you even deserve it. Those questions are very natural and feelings of uneasiness are to be expected. But it should not stop you from dreaming and fulfilling your place in this world.

Our failings can be easily observed by others but only with great difficulty can we see them ourselves. That's why embracing criticism and asking for feedback is a true sign of greatness.
Seeing ourselves from someone else's point of view is always the hardest but sometimes that push of fear leave us and GREATNESS returns to help us provide the dream we once wish amoung a star about. You have to believe in yourself and let others follow you. Thanks Ariane!!! Love your pictures!!!!
You are absolutely right. Being able to accept criticism that is constructive and helpful can allow you to get out of your own way and keep you focused on the road to success.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts Infinite! :)
Wow, this post was very inspiring. Inspires me to examine and admit my greatest aspirations, face the fears and thoughts that are blocking them from existence, move past them and "just do it." Reminds me of this quote from Marianne Williamson: “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be?"
Glad you liked the post :) ! That quote was so amazing! Thanks for sharing.
